Derek has a decade of experience in the industrial world helping businesses optimize their space and change their bottom line.

With a background in engineering (B.S. Chemical Engineering from University of Arizona), he brings a precise and technical approach to each challenge. He started his career as a process engineer for Proctor and Gamble working to understand ROI based on impact to production downtime, maintenance challenges, and long term quality control factors.

Derek then spent several years as the Regional Manager for an automated storage and retrieval system manufacturer developing an accurate and refined approach to inventory and process surveys. This experience gives him an effective and accurate methodology to appropriately size and recommend solutions to ReSolve customers today.

When he’s not out solving problems in the industry, Derek is traveling, experiencing new foods and cultures, spending time with family, fitting in weekly yoga to keep his mind and body mobile and focused, and cranking out some miles on his Peloton. Derek’s work-life balance is anchored by his three amazing sons; raising them alongside his wife, Kaylie.
